Since her 1999 Rocketown Records debut, Without Condition, Owens has released 10 additional albums, multiple EPs, and two Christmas projects. She has a string of #1 hits, numerous song placements across network television and film, and her compositions have been recorded by such artists as Michael W. Smith, JJ Heller, Rachael Lampa, and Anthony Evans. Through the years Owens has taken the stage at The White House, Lilith Fair, Sundance Film Festival, and the National Day of Prayer in Washington, D.C., and has appeared on MSNBC, FOX News, and Live! with Regis and Kathie Lee. She was also a featured contributor to the bestselling David C. Cook/Integrity Music book and music series Faithful, highlighting the women of the Bible.
An acclaimed author, Ginny's books include Singing in the Dark: Finding Hope in the Songs of Scripture (David C. Cook), Love Be the Loudest: Hearing God’s Voice Above the Noise (Independent), and Transcending Mysteries: Who is God and What Does He Want From Us? (Thomas Nelson/HarperCollins) co-penned with Andrew Greer. Ginny holds a Master of Biblical Studies from Reformed Theological Seminary and currently serves as Director of Worship Arts and Community Engagement Specialist at New York City’s Redeemer Presbyterian Church Lincoln Square.
