Dr. Ron Sauer has faithfully served in the church and classroom for decades. He was a professor at Moody Bible Institute for over 35 years, shaping generations of students through his teaching, mentorship, and commitment to biblical truth. In addition to his academic work, Dr. Sauer is a military veteran and has served as a pastor in multiple churches, continuing in pastoral ministry until just last year. Beyond his professional calling, Ron is devoted to his family. He has been married to his wife, Sweet Sue, for more than 55 years, a partnership marked by faith, love, and service. His life reflects a deep commitment to Christ, lifelong learning, and shepherding others both inside and outside the classroom.
"Sweet Sue" Sauer has dedicated her life to serving others through education, music, family, and quiet faithfulness. She has been married to Dr. Ron Sauer for over 55 years and played a vital role in supporting his ministry and academic calling. She was trained and mentored by Vicky Kraft of Child Evangelism Fellowship for four years and has spent decades along her husband in Good News Clubs, mentoring and discipling couples and young women. Sweet Sue devoted herself to rearing their three children, carefully laying The Foundation in their lives in a home grounded in love, faith, and encouragement, along with their dad's wonderful loving care. Once the children grew up, she became a caregiver for eight years. Sweet Sue's life is marked by humility, compassion, and a steady presence that enriches her family, church, and community.
Sullivan Williams is a communications professional with a background in media, broadcasting, and storytelling. He earned his degree in Communications from Moody Bible Institute in 2015, where he developed a foundation in media production and faith-based communication. Following graduation, Sullivan worked with Salem Radio Network and various radio production companies, contributing to a range of broadcast and media projects. He later launched his own podcast, further expanding his experience in content creation, production, and audience engagement. In 2025, Sullivan returned to Moody Bible Institute as Digital Content Manager for Moody Global Media, bringing his industry experience back to the institution that helped shape his career.
