Samuel Hodges IV started his career in 1996 as a Video Editor at NBC 17. In 2000, he joined Church Initiative as a Producer before taking on the role of Discipleship Pastor at Infinity Church in 2002. In 2005, he returned to Church Initiative, this time as an Executive Producer. Samuel subsequently held the position of Vice President of Publishing before becoming the President of the company in January 2022. He earned a Master of Divinity degree in Christian Education from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary between 1994 and 1999. Prior to that, he completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications (Radio, TV, Film) from Howard University, spanning from 1990 to 1994. Samuel recently wrote and produced the latest version of GriefShare, a video based curriculum for grieving people.
Jeff has been a counselor and trainer for the Center for Biblical Counseling & Education (St. Louis, MO) and Biblical Counseling Center (Arlington Heights, IL). He has taught biblical counseling for Evangelical Theological College, Trinity College of the Bible & Theological Seminary, Westminster Theological Seminary, Reformed Theological Seminary, and Birmingham Theological Seminary. Jeff is a graduate of Delaware Valley University, Westminster Theological Seminary, the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He and his wife, Debbie, have two children. Currently, Jeff is the Senior Writer/Content Developer for Church Initiative, the publishing ministry that produces video-based curricula, such as DivorceCare and GriefShare, to help churches address traumatic experiences with the hope of the gospel.
