Kenda Peterson
Kenda Peterson lives in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, and has dedicated over 25 years to a career in the non-profit sector. Much of her professional life has centered on children and youth development, serving as Executive Director for organizations including the Boys & Girls Clubs and Youth for Christ, as well as in full-time church ministry. Kenda currently oversees volunteer and community outreach across five counties in Southeast and Treasure Coast Florida. In her spare time, she is actively involved in women's ministry and children's ministry at her church and serves on the leadership team for Christian Surfers Jupiter. Her greatest joy is serving others, but the role she treasures most has been being the birth mother to her daughter Abbie and now the mother of her son Trace.
Jill Marquis
Jill Marquis joined the Care Net staff in 2021 as the Director of Abortion Recovery and Care (ARC). She came to pro-life work in 2010 as a result of her own abortion decision. Her emotional and spiritual recovery from her abortion provides her with a unique perspective for engaging women and men who share her experience. Jill spent 10 years in abortion recovery ministry while simultaneously serving on staff at her local pregnancy center. She and her husband of 30+ years have two adult children and make their home in North Carolina.
Lovette Vassar
Lovette Vassar is associate director of Abortion Recovery and Care. As a mother who chose abortion for two of her children, God led Lovette through a profound healing journey in 2009. From that place of restoration, He called her into the mission field of Abortion Recovery. For over a decade, Lovette served as the Abortion Recovery Coordinator at her local pregnancy resource center, helping to bring the hope and healing found in Christ through abortion recovery to over 500 women behind prison walls in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. As Lovette continues her journey of healing, her deepest desire this side of heaven is to proclaim that there is grace on the other side of abortion.
