Kay Arthur, world-renowned author of more than 100 books and Bible studies, and cofounder of the nonprofit ministry Precept, passed away on May 20, 2025, at age 91 in Chattanooga, Tenn., surrounded by her family. She will be remembered for her love for the Lord, His Word, and His people. A dynamic speaker with a warm writing style that captivated many, Kay was a remarkable beacon of grace and truth to all who encountered her. Kay and and her husband Jack served as co-CEOs of Precept until 2012 when their son David assumed the position. Kay also taught and hosted Precepts for Life™, reaching more than 75 million households each day through radio and television in more than 30 countries for more than 20 years.
Called “the best preacher in the family” by her father, Billy Graham, Anne Graham Lotz speaks around the globe with the wisdom and authority of years spent studying God's Word. The New York Times named Anne one of the five most influential evangelists of her generation.

Jan is the author of 11 books, including Big Girls Don’t Whine and Fool-Proofing Your Life. Jan also is a professional life coach helping people to "get from where they are to where they want to be". Her life's work truly is encouraging people to embrace the truth that "a change of perspective changes everything".
Melissa B. Kruger is vice president of discipleship programming at The Gospel Coalition and author of multiple books, including Growing Together, Walking with God in the Season of Motherhood, and the popular children’s book "Wherever You Go, I Want You to Know." Her husband, Mike, is the president of Reformed Theological Seminary, and they reside with their three children in Charlotte, N.C.
Two-time Dove Award–winner Babbie Mason is a Grammy-nominated recording artist and songwriter and the television host of Babbie’s House. Babbie is also the author of numerous books and Bible studies. She and her husband, Charles, live in Georgia and are the parents of two adult sons.
David Arthur is President and CEO of Precept Ministries International. He understood the importance of Inductive Bible Study at a young age under the spiritual leadership of his parents, Jack and Kay Arthur. David shares his parents' passion of establishing people in God’s Word. Over the years David has been mentored by his parents’ teaching and shares their view of the Bible. Prior to his role at Precept, David worked in the business world with IBM and small businesses. Starting in 1999, David worked several years as a pastor in both the Presbyterian Church of America and the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church. Just before coming to Precept, he was Vice President with Generous Giving, working with givers and pastors. David holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Management from Covenant College and a Masters of Arts in Theological Studies from Reformed Theological Seminary.
