Guest Host Jon Gauger
For more than three decades, Jon Gauger has served with Moody Radio as a writer, producer, and host. He is rarely seen without a camera, shooting photos and video for Moody Radio and others. In addition to The Land and the Book, Jon is heard on Moody Presents, Today in the Word, the Praise and Worship Channel, and Majesty Radio. He has traveled to 38 countries as a journalist, speaker, or trainer. An award-winning narrator, Jon has voiced 75 audiobooks and has written If I Could Do It All Over Again and Kids Say the Wisest Things. Jon is married to Diana, and they have two grown children and six truly extraordinary grandchildren. The Gaugers love reading, camping (trailers, not tents), and great Mexican food.
Bill Rapier
Dr. Bill Rapier is Founder and Executive Director of African Leadership Development. He and his wife, Pam, have been missionaries since 1978 and have had a sustained international ministry since 1981 and to Southern Africa since 1989. Their ministry was born out of the personal discipleship Bill received, first from the Navigators as a young man serving in the U.S. Army, and subsequently from other Christian leaders while living in the Chicago area. They have five children and five grandchildren. For the past 13 years, Bill has traveled to Africa almost 70 times. Pam and the boys have also been with Bill, assisting with the orphan ministry in South Africa and Zimbabwe.
