Remember when Forrest Gump got on the bus and all the kids said, "Seat’s taken"? On a "Best of Chris Fabry Live," author and professor Dr. Heather Holleman has taken all the feelings of 7th Grade—class schedules, locker combinations, and struggling to fit in—and she's written a novel titled This Seat's Saved. Have a child in Middle School? Have some lingering hurts from that season? Don't miss Chris Fabry Live.
Dr. Heather Holleman is an associate teaching professor at Penn State, speaker, and author. She designs advanced writing curriculum for the English department and loves helping students thrive professionally. She has written eight books, including the bestseller Seated With Christ: Living Freely in a Culture of Comparison; and an award-winning book on evangelism (co-written with her husband Ashley Holleman) called Sent: Living a Life that Invites Others to Jesus. Heather also serves with Faculty Commons in the professor and graduate student ministry of Cru. She has two daughters, three cats, and a podcast called "The Verb with Heather Holleman." When she's not writing or teaching, Heather is growing a plum orchard, looking for turtles in the woods, or gathering with friends for dinner and a movie.
Chris Fabry is the host of Chris Fabry Live, one hour of spiritual encouragement from his backyard radio fence. The program challenges listeners to think biblically about their spiritual journeys. Chris is also the author of the Christy Award-winning novel Dogwood, June Bug, ECPA Christian Book Award-winner (Fiction) Almost Heaven, Not in the Heart and Borders of the Heart. He and his family live near Tucson, Ariz.
Chris Fabry Live is designed to build up the spiritual immune system of the Christian men and woman. As you walk through the journey of faith called the Christian life, you meet new people, learn new things, laugh, cry and, most importantly, grow in your understanding of God.
