A Conversation with Kay Arthur
For decades, Kay Arthur has taught women how to study the Bible inductively. Monday on Chris Fabry Live, Kay talks about her love of the Bible, the work of Precept Ministries, and the way God has worked in and through her. She has a new hurdle in life called Parkinson's. Hear Kay and her son David talk about that development and God's faithfulness and mercy.

Kay Arthur
Kay Arthur is co-founder, along with husband Jack, of Precept International Ministries, an exciting, practical approach to studying the Bible that has helped millions of people discover the truth of God’s Word for themselves over the past five decades. After several years of international ministry, health issues forced the Arthurs to Tennessee and opened the door for the living room Bible study ministry that became Precept. In 1970, the Arthurs purchased a 32-acre farm in the Tennessee Valley and officially launched the Reach Out Ranch. Through television, radio, writing, and speaking, God has used Kay to reach millions of households with His truth. An author of more than 100 books and Bible study workbooks, Kay continues to collaborate with the Precept team on Bible study resources. Kay and Jack served as co-CEOs of Precept until 2012 when their son David assumed the position. Kay taught and hosted Precepts for Life™, reaching more than 75 million households each day through radio and television in more than 30 countries for more than 20 years.
David Arthur
David Arthur is President and CEO of Precept Ministries International. He understood the importance of Inductive Bible Study at a young age under the spiritual leadership of his parents, Jack and Kay Arthur. David shares his parents' passion of establishing people in God’s Word. Over the years David has been mentored by his parents’ teaching and shares their view of the Bible. Prior to his role at Precept, David worked in the business world with IBM and small businesses. Starting in 1999, David worked several years as a pastor in both the Presbyterian Church of America and the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church. Just before coming to Precept, he was Vice President with Generous Giving, working with givers and pastors. David holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Management from Covenant College and a Masters of Arts in Theological Studies from Reformed Theological Seminary.
