Today on Bold Steps with Pastor Mark Jobe … we’re learning about the power of our words. A lot of us are living in cities and crowded places. Here in Chicago, we have to fight for parking spaces. Yet, even in a crowd, we can sometimes still feel lonely and disconnected. We feel that way because we’re missing real, authentic connections with people. We may live around them, but we don’t know them. Those who want to grow and mature in their lives and in their faith, are the people who are most connected in their marriage, with their family, and in church and the community. And in this series, we’re going to be learning how to break down some walls that lead to isolation and today, starting with a message about the Power of Words.

Pastor Mark Jobe
Mark Jobe is passionate about seeing lives transformed by the power of God's Word. He serves as the founding pastor of New Life Community Church, a Chicago-based, multi-campus church with more than 25 locations, and founded New Life Centers, serving thousands of at-risk youth throughout Chicago. Mark is the Bible teacher on Bold Steps and previously served as president of Moody Bible Institute. He shares life and ministry with his wife, Dee.
