Vinegar Boy

In this moving Easter-themed program from Moody Radio, a young boy, abandoned by his parents because of an unsightly birthmark on his face, is taken in by Roman soldiers. He earns his keep in the commissary by supplying vinegar wine to condemned prisoners at Crucifixion Hill. Eventually, the child learns of a man named Jesus, renowned as a healer, and seeks to find this miracle worker to remove his birthmark.

But Vinegar Boy never gets his long-awaited encounter with Jesus. Instead, he watches hopelessly as the Healer staggers His way toward Crucifixion Hill, Himself a condemned “criminal.” Thus begins Vinegar Boy’s odyssey with the Christ of the cross.
