Abuse damages a person’s self-esteem, because our mentality shapes our personality, which determines our reality.  If we think something—because someone’s told us that we’re worthless and no good—and then we believe that about ourselves, that’s how we’re going to act.  On today’s Treasured Truth, we’ll hear more from Pastor Ford about this important topic and how to deal with the problem of domestic violence, especially as it affects our fellow believers in the church.
