Remembering Mike Kellogg

It is with heavy hearts that we share the bittersweet news of Mike Kellogg's homegoing. Mike became an invaluable member of our Moody Radio family back in February 1972. He would serve in many capacities over the years, including overseeing the production of beloved programs such as The Bookshelf with the Sugar Creek Gang, Adventures in Music, Fables of Faith, and the awe- inspiring series Stories of Great Christians. Mike is most well known for being the host of Music Through the Night, a six-hour overnight program heard across the Moody Radio network.

As host of Music Thru the Night from 1982 to 2014, Mike Kellogg served as a comforting presence, delivering the healing and transformative Word of God to countless individuals across North America during the hushed hours of the night. Recognizing the depths of life's struggles and the profound sense of loneliness that often accompany the late-night hours, Mike emerged as a true friend in the night—a guiding light that provided solace, hope, and genuine answers to his listeners through the power of music, relatable stories, and the abundant reading of sacred Scriptures.
