1: Why You Should Embrace Limits with Madelene Miller

Some of us really struggle with rules, guidelines, and instructions. These boundaries or limits, however, help keep us safe and our society working properly. God has limits too, and when we violate them, things don't usually go well! Learning to stay within God's limits will lead to a life of joy.

Madelene Miller is a speaker, Bible teacher, and pastor's wife. She is a monthly contributor to Mornings with Tom and Tabi.

2: Do We Really Have to Care for Widows? Andy Mendonsa

James 1:27 says, "Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world." Andy Mendonsa had no idea God was leading him to a ministry for widows, until he realized most of the people, he had been ministering to just happened to fall into this category. God wanted him to act, and so he did. That was the 80s, and today Widows Harvest continues to provide housing support to urban widows as well as provide space for them to pray for the church. Learn how you can get involved at

Andy Mendonsa is the founder of Widow's Harvest, the first of its kind ministry to widows in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Read Andy's book, Spiritual Widowhood here.
