Hour 1: Keeping Kids Healthy in Summer: A Conversation with Joannie DeBrito
Summer vacation is officially here for kids across the Quad Cities, so how do we keep our children and teens active and healthy during their summer break? Counselor Joannie DeBrito gives us a host of ideas for summer fun that promote mental and physical health. This conversation will arm you ahead of hearing "I'm bored" with strategies that are creative, full of adventure, and away from too much screen time.
Hour 2: Voice of the Martyrs Update: A Conversation with Todd Nettleton
We recently remembered those who gave their lives for freedom's cause and this week on our Voice of the Martyrs Update with Todd Nettleton we'll hear about a special Hearts of Fire Virtual Event where you can hear from four courageous women who have suffered greatly for the cause of the gospel. Todd will also update us on Susanna Koh, wife of kidnapped pastor Raymond Koh, as she employs the legal system to gain information and closure regarding her husband's disappearance and we'll hear a remarkable report of the work of God in a closed country where persecution is lessening! Join with us as we find cause for rejoicing and praise along with areas of concern and prayer in this update with Todd Nettleton of Voice of the Martyrs.

Joannie DeBrito draws from more than 30 years of diverse experience as a parent educator, family life educator, school social worker, administrator, and licensed mental health professional. Joannie is a regular contributor to Focus on the Family. She is also co-founder and creator of Focus' Alive to Thrive program, a biblical guide to preventing teen suicide.
Todd Nettleton
Todd Nettleton is the Chief of Media Relations and Message Integration for The Voice of the Martyrs—USA and the host of The Voice of the Martyrs Radio. Todd serves as a voice for persecuted Christians, working with the media to tell people in the United States about the faithfulness of Christ’s followers in 70+ nations where they face persecution for wearing His name. During 20+ years serving at VOM, Todd has travelled the world and conducted face-to-face interviews with hundreds of Christians who’ve endured persecution in more than 30 nations.
