Hour 1: This Seat's Saved: A Conversation with Heather Holleman

Have you ever been left out? Did you strive to belong in Middle School, but instead you were overlooked?  Author Heather Holleman has written a new book for middle schoolers that captures that longing to be "in" when you are left "out." Heather follows the story of 7th grader Elita Brown, who is left without a seat at the popular lunchroom table, and the drama that follows when she is terrorized by the meanest girl in school.  Heather Holleman will talk about her story, its inspiration, and how it mirrors the tough middle school experience so many tweens face. Heather will leave us with the truth of Ephesians 2:6 that Elita discovers and is true for all who place their faith and trust in Jesus.
