In July, Moody Radio South Florida's Summer of Purpose focus will be to help provide basic, personal hygiene items to thousands of needy men, women, and children in our local communities. We know that when someone feels better, they are in a better position to make other positive changes in their lives. On Tuesday's Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, Rev. Ronald Brummitt, President and CEO of The Caring Place joins us to talk about how individuals are able to experience changes in their lives as they work with them in education, work training, recovery, and spiritual guidance.

Hour 2: Religious Liberty: How to Use Our Freedom to Serve Our Nation - with Dr. Mark Turman
On Tuesday's Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, Dr. Mark Turman discusses the topic of Religious Freedom and the recent Denison Forum article on the same subject, also answering the question, "Why is Religious Freedom important and why is it imperative to our society? The moral and spiritual foundations upon which our republic was built are under greater threat than ever before in American history. We live in a nation that respects and honors our freedom, but we know that America's hope does not lie with government or its laws. "If God’s people will choose to declare and defend biblical truth, wherever we are and whatever the consequences, God’s Spirit will use God’s word to change hearts and transform nations."

Mark Turman
Dr. Mark Turman is the Executive Director of Denison Forum and Senior Contributor for Leadership. Previously, he pastored four churches in Texas across thirty-four years, including twenty-five years as the founding pastor of Crosspoint Church in McKinney, Texas. He holds a D.Min. from Truett Seminary, an M.Div from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a BA from Howard Payne University.
