Advent has historically been a time to anticipate Christ’s arrival—but for believers, He is already here. Trillia Newbell talks about her new book, Behold the Lamb of God has Come: Celebrating the 25 Days of Christmas Together with her producer, Karen Hendren, and ways you, your family, and your friends can prepare for Christmas by celebrating and reflecting on the character and work of Jesus. By meditating on Christ during the advent season, we can appreciate the real meaning of Christmas on Living by Faith.

Karen Hendren
Karen Hendren is the producer of "Living by Faith" and "Ed Stetzer Live". Karen has worked at Moody Radio since 2014 on a variety of programs. She is also an Emmy-winning journalist who's worked at the Associated Press, Reuters, CNN, Fox and NewsNation. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Loyola University and a Masters of Science in Journalism from Northwestern University. She's undertaking a Masters in Biblical Studies program at Moody Theological Seminary. Karen has two sons and lives in the Chicago suburbs.

Trillia Newbell is the author of several books including, A Great Cloud of Witnesses, Sacred Endurance, If God is For Us, Fear and Faith, and the children's books, Creative God, Colorful Us and God's Very Good Idea. She is the host of the podcast 52 Weeks in the Word and hosts the weekly radio program Living by Faith from Moody Radio.
When she isn’t writing, she’s encouraging and supporting other writers as the Acquisitions Director at Moody Publishers. Trillia is married to her best friend, Thern, they reside with their two children near Nashville, TN where they enjoy hiking and eating lots of bbq.
