Hour 1: Fighting For The Truth

In the shadow of the death of the architect of the October 7th attacks on Israel, the supposed plans for Israel’s attack against Iran have been leaked. On In The Market with Janet Parshall this week we spoke to our favorite missionary to that nation about why this leaked information is so concerning for the ongoing war. He also shared more amazing stories of people in Iran turning from the repression of Islam to the freedom of Christ. Today’s pastors are confronting issues that church shepherds in the past rarely if ever faced. One of the biggest surround the growing acceptance of same-sex relationships. Our guest, a former gay man, shared a powerful new video series that he has created to help pastors and others address the most challenging questions and issues related to the LGBTQ lifestyle with love and truth. Our guest used the stories of some of history’s famous artists to teach about how to appreciate the beauty of God’s unique creation and lessons about life and faith that deepen and add richness to our own walks with God. Our guest shared an exciting move forward in the spread of the Gospel as he told us about the God’s word be translated into a unique language for the very first time. We also discussed the recent hurricanes in the South and why activists are once again co-opting the event to validate their climate change agendas. Class is back in session and we have a seat for you as our favorite husband and wife teaching team continues their instructions on how to live our lives with the news of the week in one hand and the unchanging truth of God’s word in the other.

Hour 2: Standing For Your Faith

How far down do we have to go before we turn our hearts toward God? On In The Market with Janet Parshall this week we heard one woman’s story of alcohol addiction and resistance that nearly ended her life before she surrendered and found true freedom and permanent life change with God. She explained the common misconception between just coping with an addiction and finding and living in real, transformative change. As we’ve been saying over the last few weeks, believers have roles to play in the upcoming elections and one of those roles is to pray. Our guest told us how we can join a national prayer event on the night before the elections as thousands join their hearts to lift up this nation before the throne of grace. We also heard more powerful stories of believers who are willing to die for their faith in the persecuted church around the world and gave you an update on a special day being set aside to pray for persecuted believers around the world. We gave you the opportunity to take your mind off the unending schedules we all live with daily and turn your heart toward the promise of eternity with Jesus. Our guest shared wonderful, biblical truths about life in our eternal home and tackled some of the most intriguing topics surrounding Heaven including the original rebellion of Lucifer against God, how are rewards handled in Heaven, what happened to the O.T. saints when they died and most importantly how to make sure that you can be sure that Heaven is your eternal home. Once again our phones stayed busy as you brought your most challenging and perplexing spiritual warfare questions to our favorite expert and teacher. He took on those challenging questions as he always does by drawing back to the Word of God and sharing his experiences of being on the front lines of the spiritual warfare battle. It is easy to get overwhelmed by the news that we get bombarded with daily. To cut through the rhetoric, our husband and wife team put some of the biggest news stories of the week under the magnifying glass of God’s word.
