Hour 1: Ethics and Good Medicine
In the ferocious debate swirling around the issue of abortion, we often hear the clarion cry – “My body, my choice”, but is that really true? Today, we speak to a man who is an ethicist, a philosopher, and a doctor and who cares passionately about the issue of pre-born life. Join us as he teaches us how to enter into the debate with the winsome truth of biology and the compelling grace-filled way in which we can convey hope to a woman who struggles in this area. Today, we will learn to think critically and biblically.
Hour 2: A Strong Defense
Join us as we hear from one of the most prestigious correspondents in Washington, D.C. who covers the areas of national security and defense. We will again focus on China and how some believe the CCP cannot be reformed. We will also discuss their advances in new types of weaponry and talk about why the CIA is trying to rebuild new spy networks in China. Much to discuss, much to learn, and much to pray about.

Dr. Calum Miller
Dr. Calum Miller graduated from the University of Oxford Medical School in 2015, and currently works as a medical doctor in the UK. He currently also teaches Philosophy at the University of Oxford, where his research focuses on abortion policy in practice. He also holds a Master’s Degree with Distinction in Biblical Studies. Dr Miller has given over 40 academic presentations internationally, and taken part in multiple debates against the CEO of the UK’s largest private abortion provider, BPAS. He has published in top academic venues on a variety of topics, including maternal mortality in the developing world, the ethics of voting on abortion, animal and fetal pain, abortion and mental health, telemedicine abortion, academic freedom, and the philosophy of religion. He has received prizes from the University of Oxford and the Royal College of Psychiatrists for his work on Bioethics. Dr Miller has presented to a wide range of professionals and parliamentarians around the world. He regularly appears in mainstream media in the UK and has been invited to speak to various professional groups including the Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists of Uganda. He is currently working on three books on the topic of abortion.
Bill Gertz
Bill Gertz is a national security correspondent for The Washington Times. He has been with The Times since 1985. He is the author of eight books, four of them national best-sellers. His latest book, "Deceiving the Sky: Inside Communist China's Drive for Global Supremacy," reveals details about the growing threat posed by the People's Republic of China. He is also the author of the ebook "How China's Communist Party Made the World Sick." Mr. Gertz also writes Inside the Ring, a weekly column that chronicles the U.S. national security bureaucracy. Mr. Gertz has been a guest lecturer at the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Va.; the Central Intelligence Agency in Virginia; the National Defense University at Fort McNair in Washington; and the Brookings Institution in Washington. He has participated in the National Security Studies Program at the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies and Syracuse University Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs. He studied English literature at Washington College in Chestertown, Md., and journalism at George Washington University.
