This hour we take a look at some of the stories making headlines before getting an update on a wonderful ministry that beams the Gospel into Iran 24/7. Why are so many coming to faith in Christ? Is it safe to follow Christ in a theocracy? What happens to the people of Iran when the leaders are talking about war? How do we pray for the Iranian people? Then let’s discuss masculinity – not like the world discusses it but as the Word defines it. What does it mean to be a man? What is the” masculine critique”? Join us for an hour of conversation designed to make you think critically and biblically.
Hour 2: Get Your Armor On!
We open the phone lines this hour to take your questions on spiritual warfare. So much of our theology is based on what Hollywood “teaches” us through entertainment rather than through the Word of God. As the world around us goes darker, giving evidence to the reality of the “unseen” battle all around us, it’s important to know just what the Bible says on this topic – and how you can be victorious through the One who has conquered evil. Call in early – the lines light up!!

Dr. Hormoz Shariat
Dr. Hormoz Shariat is the founder of Iran Alive Ministries. He was born into a Muslim family in Iran and came to the United States after the Islamic Revolution of 1979, where he came to Christ while earning my Ph.D. in Computer Engineering as a graduate student at USC in 1980. In 1987, Hormoz planted a church in San Jose, California. With hundreds of Muslim converts, which remains one of the largest churches of its kind in the United States. In 2001 he followed the Lord’s leading and founded Iran Alive Ministries, which utilizes Satellite TV to reach the millions of lost and broken people of Iran and the rest of the Middle East. Today, the ministry broadcasts the Gospel 24/7 from studios in Dallas to Iran and the Middle East, trusting the Lord to transform a nation, which is responding to the Gospel unlike any other time in history.
Delano Squires
Delano Squires is a Research Fellow at the Heritage Foundation’s Richard and Helen DeVos Center for Life, Religion, and Family. He has written about race, religion, relationships, and culture for Black and Married with Kids, The Root, and The Grio. He holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and an MPP from The George Washington University.
Dr. Karl Payne
Dr. Karl Payne is a pastor, teacher, speaker, author and former NFL chaplain. He is currently on staff at Antioch Bible Church of Redmond, WA. where his primary role is serving as the Pastor of Leadership Development and Discipleship Training. He served as the chaplain for the Seattle Seahawks football team from 1994-2015. Dr. Payne is the author of the 3 books discipleship series Transferable Cross Training Volumes 1-3. He co-authored A Just Defense (1987) and Cross Training (1993). He also contributed to two reference books, The Encyclopedia of Biblical Christian Ethics and The Popular Encyclopedia of Apologetics. His own book, Spiritual Warfare: Christians, Demonization and Deliverance (2011) continues to be a popular reference of the topic of spiritual warfare.
