Dr. Sam A. Andreades is the author of several books and has worked as a minister in the PCA for over 20 years, serving congregations in Greenwich Village, NYC, and in Pennsylvania. In 2008, he founded Higher Ground NYC, a ministry of Christian discipleship serving those with unwanted same-sex attraction. He currently sits on the board of Restored Hope Network, a consortium of over 50 ministries across the United States that faithfully deal with gender and sexuality problems. Sam holds degrees from Yale University, Reformed Theological Seminary, New York University, and Covenant Theological Seminary, and is a current Ph.D. student at the University of Edinburgh, further studying a theology of gender. Sam has spoken around the country on the Christian view of gender and his first book, enGendered, won the World Magazine Book of the Year Award for Accessible Theology. He and his wife, Mary K., have raised three sons and one daughter, and now have three daughters-in-law, a son-in-law, and two grandchildren.
Chris Brooks is the senior pastor of Woodside Bible Church, a multisite congregation across the Detroit metropolitan area. Chris served for 20 years as the senior pastor of Evangel Ministries, a thriving 1,600-member church in the heart of Detroit. He also served as the campus dean of Moody Theological Seminary in Plymouth, Michigan. A popular Detroit radio host since 2005, Chris is the author of Kingdom Dreaming and Urban Apologetics. He graduated from Michigan State University with a BA in Finance, completed his MA in Christian Apologetics at Biola University, and graduated from the Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry degree at Asbury Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Yodit, are the proud parents of six children: Christopher, Zewditu, Cameron, Judah, Sophia, and Christyana.
