Jeff and Sarah Walton
Sarah Walton is a stay-at-home mom and co-author of Hope When It Hurts: Biblical Reflections to Help You Grasp God’s Purpose in Your Suffering. She enjoys writing and speaking about how the gospel speaks into all areas of life and offers hope in the midst of suffering. She blogs at Setapart.net and is a contributing writer at Desiringgod.org, Reviveourhearts.com, and Unlockingthebible.org.
Jeff Walton is a graduate of Taylor University who worked as a trauma consultant for nine years, assisting doctors in implanting medical devices during trauma surgeries. He made the difficult decision to walk away from that line of work as the on-call hours became too much for their family’s circumstances. Since then Jeff has worked in the medical technology industry while navigating seasons of unexpected job loss. He spends his free time leading men’s Bible studies and coaching his children’s sports teams. Jeff and Sarah have 4 children.

Chris Brooks
Chris Brooks is the senior pastor of Woodside Bible Church, a multisite congregation across the Detroit metropolitan area. Chris served for 20 years as the senior pastor of Evangel Ministries, a thriving 1,600-member church in the heart of Detroit. He also served as the campus dean of Moody Theological Seminary in Plymouth, Michigan. A popular Detroit radio host since 2005, Chris is the author of Kingdom Dreaming and Urban Apologetics. He graduated from Michigan State University with a BA in Finance, completed his MA in Christian Apologetics at Biola University, and graduated from the Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry degree at Asbury Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Yodit, are the proud parents of six children: Christopher, Zewditu, Cameron, Judah, Sophia, and Christyana.
