Michelle Lynn Senters raised two daughters on her own and her journey as a single mom initially forged her message, which has deepened through her years of mentoring single moms and launching ministries geared to them in the local church.
Michelle is the founder and director of SEEN, a ministry designed to demonstrate the love of Christ to single mothers and equip churches to meet their spiritual needs. She is a popular Bible study teacher and a sought-after speaker at women’s events and writer’s conferences.
She holds a B.A. in education and a masters of education in Integrated Teaching Through the Arts. Michelle lives in Colorado with her husband and two daughters. She recently grew her family through an adult adoption of a third daughter, making her a grandmother.
Roy Patterson is Community Relations Director at Moody Bible Institute and host of Music for Sunday and Urban Praise. He is a graduate of Moody Bible Institute and Trinity International University and is heard on Moody Radio. He is also a preacher, praise and worship leader and vocalist. Roy has served as a youth leader, senior pastor, and a substance abuse counselor. Roy has been married to his wife, Lynette, for over 40 years, and they have three adult children and three amazing grandchildren.
Chris Brooks is the senior pastor of Woodside Bible Church, a multisite congregation across the Detroit metropolitan area. Chris served for 20 years as the senior pastor of Evangel Ministries, a thriving 1,600-member church in the heart of Detroit. He also served as the campus dean of Moody Theological Seminary in Plymouth, Michigan. A popular Detroit radio host since 2005, Chris is the author of Kingdom Dreaming and Urban Apologetics. He graduated from Michigan State University with a BA in Finance, completed his MA in Christian Apologetics at Biola University, and graduated from the Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry degree at Asbury Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Yodit, are the proud parents of six children: Christopher, Zewditu, Cameron, Judah, Sophia, and Christyana.
