Greg Wheatley's career in music and broadcasting spans more than four decades. He served as Guest Lecturer in Music Theory at Wheaton College Conservatory for more than 20 years, and also taught at Moody Bible Institute and Concordia University. From 1997 to 2021, Greg directed the Glen Ellyn-Wheaton Chorale, a community chorus based in the suburbs of Chicago. During part of that time, he also served as Music Director at New Covenant Church in Naperville (Ill.). Greg's career in broadcasting ultimately took him to Moody Radio, where during his 22 year tenure, he was heard on a number of programs including Mornings with Greg and Chris, Prime Time America, Inside Look, and Sound of Majesty. One of Greg's passions is helping people understand and love great music, especially music of the church. Greg holds a Bachelor's degree in music from Spring Arbor College, and a Master's degree in music theory from Michigan State University. Greg and his wife, Jennifer, have three adult children and five grandchildren. They make their home in Durham, N.C.
