Dodd was born in Lynchburg, Virginia, and lived on the east side of Michigan for most of his childhood. He moved to Grand Rapids to attend college, started his career in radio as a freshman in 1988, and has called West Michigan home ever since!

Dodd has served with several ministries through the years, including His Kids Radio, WCSG, Mission Network News, and ReFrame Media. He began serving at WGNB in June 2024. Dodd and his wife, Tami, have been married for over 34 years. They love spending time with their growing family and enjoy serving together in radio, music, and church ministry.
