Today, on Karl and Crew, we wrapped up our weekly theme, “I Can’t Change Because…,” by examining the excuses we make and how God calls us beyond them. Heather Otis Tayloe joined us to explain the reality of spiritual warfare, how the enemy works to pull believers off course, and why God’s Word is our weapon for standing firm. Heather has served in international missionary radio for nearly forty years alongside her husband and has led Bible study and prayer ministries for over a decade. She has authored numerous biblical studies and The Saboteur: Agent of Subterfuge and Subversive Stratagems. We then had Marita Littauer join us to explain how personality types can help us understand our strengths and weaknesses, while reminding us that they are not an excuse to stay stuck but a starting point to grow more like Christ. Marita is a speaker, author, and blogger known for her work on personality studies. She has written over 20 books, including her best-selling title Wired That Way, and continues to teach and speak on understanding personalities. We then turned to the phone lines to hear from our listeners. We asked the question, “What excuse did you finally give up that ultimately led to freedom in Christ?"
