Every one of us struggles against lies from our flesh, our culture, and even Satan but there are some struggles unique to men.
Author Robert Wolgemuth identifies some of the common lies men tend to believe. And from a lifetime of experience, he’ll share the practical ways to break free from even the most subtle strongholds so we can live in Biblical wisdom, sound thinking, and true joy!

Robert Wolgemuth
is the best-selling author of over twenty books, including She Calls Me Daddy, the notes to the Dad’s Devotional Bible, The Most Important Place on Earth, and What’s in the Bible, co-written with the late Dr. R.C. Sproul. Robert grew up in a home where truth-telling was a big deal. The fourth child of a German, Mennonite pastor, Robert and his five siblings knew the high value their parents placed on the absolute accuracy of every word spoken at home. Even exaggerations were verboten, so writing a book denouncing lies makes a lot of sense.Robert is married to Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth. He has two married daughters, two sons-in-law, five grandchildren, and one grand-son-in-law.

Chris Brooks is the senior pastor of Woodside Bible Church, a multisite congregation across the Detroit metropolitan area. Chris served for 20 years as the senior pastor of Evangel Ministries, a thriving 1,600-member church in the heart of Detroit. He also served as the campus dean of Moody Theological Seminary in Plymouth, Michigan. A popular Detroit radio host since 2005, Chris is the author of Kingdom Dreaming and Urban Apologetics. He graduated from Michigan State University with a BA in Finance, completed his MA in Christian Apologetics at Biola University, and graduated from the Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry degree at Asbury Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Yodit, are the proud parents of six children: Christopher, Zewditu, Cameron, Judah, Sophia, and Christyana.
