The Story of Jesus

Jesus' life on earth has had the greatest impact on human history than any other.  We see his life and story in the four gospels, but the book of Acts takes us further into him impact.  Ed Stetzer talks with Doug Huffman about his book, The Story of Jesus Continues and the book of Acts and Jesus' story.  They'll also share how studying this book can have a big impact on our own lives on Ed Stetzer Live.

Doug Huffman

Doug Huffman serves as professor of New Testament and dean of academic programs for Talbot School of Theology at Biola University in California. He is author of several books including, The Story of Jesus Continues: A Survey of the Acts of the Apostles. Dr. Huffman also serves as a script consultant for The Chosen. In Fall 2025, Dr. Huffman will be returning to the University of Northwestern–St. Paul where he is to serve as the dean of Northwestern’s school of theology and as a special advisor to the university president.

Ed Stetzer

Ed Stetzer, Ph.D., is Dean of the Talbot School of Theology at Biola University. He has planted, revitalized, and pastored churches; trained pastors and church planters on six continents; earned two master’s degrees and two doctorates; and he has written hundreds of articles and a dozen books. He is Regional Director for Lausanne North America, is the Editor-in-Chief of Outreach Magazine, and regularly writes for news outlets such as USA Today and CNN.  He serves at his local church, Mariners Church, as a teaching pastor.  Ed and his wife Donna have been married for more than 35 years and are the parents of three daughters.
