it's Father's Day weekend.  For believers, it's a time to celebrate the ideals of fatherhood set forth in scripture.  Ed Stetzer sits down with Moody Bible Institute President Dr. Mark Jobe and his son, Pastor Josiah Jobe, to talk about God's design for fathers as leader, and protector of the family and a pillar of faith.

Dr. Mark Jobe serves as 10th president of Moody Bible Institute, a higher education, broadcasting and publishing ministry founded in 1886. Dr. Jobe is the author of Unstuck: Out of Your Cave and Into Your Call, and the host of Bold Steps, a weekday program heard on stations across the nation. Mark serves as senior pastor of New Life Community Church in Chicago and Founder of New Life Centers a nonprofit focused on helping at risk urban youth. He and his wife, Dee, serve together in ministry and have 3 adult children.

Josiah Jobe is the Lead Pastor of New Life Community Church and Location Pastor of New Life Midway. He graduated from Moody Bible Institute with a degree in Biblical Studies. Ed Stetzer, Ph.D., is Dean of the Talbot School of Theology at Biola University. He has planted, revitalized, and pastored churches; trained pastors and church planters on six continents; earned two master’s degrees and two doctorates; and he has written hundreds of articles and a dozen books. He is Regional Director for Lausanne North America, is the Editor-in-Chief of Outreach Magazine, and regularly writes for news outlets such as USA Today and CNN.  He serves at his local church, Highpoint Church, as a teaching pastor.  Ed and his wife Donna have been married for more than 35 years and are the parents of three daughters.
