Aiding in the Ukraine Crisis

As the war in Ukraine rages on, American churches are going to Poland and other European countries to help refugees fleeing the turmoil.  People in these countries are tired, and appreciative of any help they can get.  I'll talk with Jason Cox of the International Mission Board, Tina Bruner of Global Christian Connexion and my producer, Karen Hendren, who went on a trip to Poland to offer aid and support to the refugees and volunteers in this crisis.

Tina Bruner is Executive Director of Global Christian Connexion.  Tina is currently residing in Prezemysl, Poland, at the Poland/Ukraine border, where she is working with churches, government leaders, non-profits and businesses to serve the massive physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the people of Poland and Ukraine.

Karen Hendren

Karen Hendren is the producer of "Ed Stetzer Live" and "Living by Faith".  Karen has worked at Moody Radio since 2014 on a variety of programs.  She is also an Emmy-winning journalist who's worked at the Associated Press, Reuters, CNN, Fox and NewsNation.  She has a bachelor's degree from Loyola University and a Masters of Science in Journalism from Northwestern University.  She has two sons and lives in the Chicago suburbs.

Ed Stetzer, Ph.D., is Dean of the Talbot School of Theology at Biola University. He has planted, revitalized, and pastored churches; trained pastors and church planters on six continents; earned two master’s degrees and two doctorates; and he has written hundreds of articles and a dozen books. He is Regional Director for Lausanne North America, is the Editor-in-Chief of Outreach Magazine, and regularly writes for news outlets such as USA Today and CNN.  He serves at his local church, Highpoint Church, as a teaching pastor.  Ed and his wife Donna have been married for more than 35 years and are the parents of three daughters.
