Is your husband spending too much time with his parents?

One common area of conflict between husbands and wives is differences in how to discipline their children. If their children know they're loved, they are more likely to respond positively to your discipline.

Some fathers confide in and seek advice from their sons more than they do with their wives. This is clearly unhealthy if the wife's input seems to be valued less than that of their son. Though difficult, the wife should affirm her husband, acknowledging that he's at least man enough to reach out for advice.

Children are clearly influenced by parents. Parents must ensure that their influence is positive. That positive influence comes from loving and disciplining your children.
