In part two of “Don’t Be Anxious,” Dr. Crawford Loritts explains four commitments Jesus calls us to as found in Matt 6.   Anxiety, it's in the minds of many.  Let's go now to God's Word for help on today's Living a Legacy.

Dr. Crawford Loritts explains how to take the godly approach when loving our enemies. It all begins with reflecting God’s unconditional love when facing ridicule and mistreatment.  Be ready to turn in your Bible to Matthew 5:43-48.

Matthew 6:1-18 I Part 2 of “Don’t Show Off.” The message of these 18 verses is simply this: Don't show off. Don't use spiritual disciplines to promote yourself. In this passage, Jesus is not necessarily talking about running from recognition, but he does say it’s wrong to do something for the recognition.

This passage marks a pivotal change in the book of Matthew and in the earthly ministry of Jesus. It is a sad passage. It is both a tribute and a rebuke for rejection of the truth and missed opportunity.

Dr. Crawford Loritts takes us to Jesus closing thoughts expressed in the Sermon on the Mount.  As we come to the high point of the last two paragraphs, Jesus is calling for a decision or choice. What will you build your life upon?
