Following Core Truths not Trends with Colin Smith and Living in Authentic Joy with Chris Coursey

Today, on Karl and Crew, we continued our theme of "Core Truths."  Karl shared a unique metaphor comparing core truths of training Iditarod dog teams and our own spiritual life.  Colin Smith joined us as well.  He is Pastor Emeritus of The Orchard Church and host of the national broadcast, Open the Bible.  Pastor Colin discussed Ephesians 2:9-10 and the concern of following fads and trends, rather than biblical core truths that last for eternity.  Pastor, speaker, and author Chris Coursey was also our guest.  He unpacked true joy versus happiness and shared his own testimony of experiencing biblical joy even in the valleys.  We highlighted one of his books called "The Joy Switch."  Finally, we asked listeners, "What is a core truth you're living into today?"  It's Wednesday, so we enjoyed Ally's Jokes!  You can hear the highlights of today's program on the Karl and Crew Showcast.
