Matthew 6:1-18 I The message of these 18 verses is simply this: Don't show off. Don't use spiritual disciplines to promote yourself. Are you blowing your trumpet a little bit too much? Do you really want everybody to know how spiritually mature you are? Jesus is not necessarily talking about running from recognition. It’s wrong when you do something for the recognition.
