Hour 1: Five Lies
Modern culture is increasingly outspoken against a biblical understanding of what it means to be a woman. Even some Christians, swayed by the LGBTQ+ movement, have rejected God’s word on issues of sexuality and gender in favor of popular opinion. In light of these pressures, it’s more important than ever to help women see the truth about who God created them to be. Join us as Dr. Rosaria Butterfield uses Scripture to confront 5 common lies about sexuality, faith, feminism, gender roles, and modesty often promoted in our secular culture today. She will share her personal battle with these lies and interweave her story with cultural studies, literary criticism, and theology—to help us see the beauty in biblical womanhood, marriage, and motherhood.
Hour 2: Sex and the Single Girl
Sexuality is a hot topic these days, and opinions are all over the place. Dr. Juli Slattery will join us to fill the gap by providing a broader, more comprehensive understanding of what it means to honor God with our sexuality. She will equip single women to understand their sexuality, trust the Lord for redemption and healing, and stand against the cultural trends that marginalize and compromise God’s design for sex.

Rosaria Butterfield
Rosaria Butterfield was once a tenured professor of English who identified as a lesbian and worked to advance the cause of LGBT equality. After her conversion to Christ in 1999, she came to see the sinfulness of having any identity apart from Him. She is a home-school mother, pastor's wife, author, and speaker. She is helping Christians to better understand their LGBT neighbors and loved ones so that we can lovingly look past labels of sexual identity and share the gospel effectively.
Dr. Juli Slattery
Dr. Juli Slattery is a clinical psychologist, author, speaker, and the president/co-founder of Authentic Intimacy. Juli earned her college degree at Wheaton College, an MA in psychology from Biola University, and an MS and a Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from Florida Institute of Technology. From 2008-2012, Dr. Slattery served at Focus on the Family writing, teaching, and co-hosting the Focus on the Family Broadcast. In 2012, she left Focus on the Family to start Authentic Intimacy, a ministry devoted to reclaiming God’s design for sexuality. In 2020, Juli launched another area of the ministry designed to help Christian leaders navigate sexual issues and questions with gospel-centered truth. Juli is the author of fourteen books and host of the weekly podcast “Java with Juli.”
