Join us today as Adam Mabry shows us how rest fuels our joy and confidence in God's sovereignty as we learn to depend on Him, and not our own efforts, and are refreshed by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Adam Mabry
Adam is the founding Senior Pastor of Aletheia Church in Boston, MA — a multi-site, diverse church passionately committed to bringing the truth, grace, and the changing power of the Gospel for the glory of God and the good of all people. Four months after he married his wife Hope, they were radically and unexpectedly called into ministry, moving them to Edinburgh, Scotland for five years, to help plant and grow two new churches. In 2010, they planted Aletheia Church in Boston, Massachusetts. Completing Master’s Degrees from Reformed Theological Seminary (M.A.) and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (Th.M.), a D.Min from Gordon-Conwell, and a Ph.D. from The University of Aberdeen, he now serves on the faculty of Every Nation Seminary as the Professor of Theology and Biblical Studies. In demand worldwide as a teacher and preacher, he has also written a few books, such as The Art of Rest: Faith to Hit Pause in a World that Never Stops, Stop Taking Sides: How Truth in Tension Saves Us from Anxiety and Outrage, and When God Seems Gone: Finding Hope when Nothing Makes Sense.
Lindsey Medenwaldt
Lindsey Medenwaldt is the Director of Ministry Operations at Mama Bear Apologetics, She is the resident worldview and world religion specialist. She has a master’s degree in apologetics and ethics from Denver Seminary, as well as a master’s in public administration and a law degree. She wrote Bridge-Building Apologetics.(Harvest House). She’s an editor and author for the Christian Research Journal, an editor for Women in Apologetics, and a member of the Pelican Project. She has also contributed to various writing projects, including a chapter about the Jehovah’s Witnesses to the Popular Handbook of World Religions (Harvest House 2021).
