Hour 1: UFO’s And God

What is really behind the global explosion of UFO sightings and encounters? Militaries, congresses, and whistleblowers say the UFOs are real. Cable shows push a narrative that they are our extraterrestrial “space brothers” here to help us. But, is their motive far more sinister?
Drawing from documented cases, credible testimonies, science, and Scripture, Derrick Warfel—a Princeton graduate, a Dallas Seminary theologian, and an award-winning filmmaker— makes a carefully reasoned case that these are not extraterrestrials, but fallen supernatural powers the Bible warns us about in Ephesian 6:12. Join us for a riveting conversation.

Derrick Warfel

Derrick Warfel was born and raised in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, in the heart of the PA Bible Belt. He earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Princeton University, a Master of Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary, and an MFA in Cinema from the University of Southern California. After eight years on staff with CRU (Campus Crusade for Christ), Derrick spent the next four decades in the film industry, creating and teaching media from a biblical Christian worldview. An award-winning writer, director, and producer, he has completed more than eight feature films and numerous short films. In recent years, Derrick became increasingly concerned by the growing normalization of UFO narratives in popular media—particularly the claim that alleged extraterrestrial messages are guiding humanity toward a new stage of evolution. UFOs and God and its companion feature documentary are his response—a biblical, clear-sighted examination designed to equip the church to recognize and resist the spiritual dangers embedded in these messages.
