Hour 1: God’s Book
Dr. Andrew Ollerton will join us to remind us that we won’t need to choose between science or the Bible. When we appreciate that the conquest of Canaan was a unique moment in history, these passages won’t justify violence today. Andrew will take an honest look at some of these tough topics in the Bible and offer practical advice on how to more effectively “contend for the faith” in today’s culture.
Hour 2: A Prowling Enemy
This hour, we open the phone lines so that you can ask Dr. Karl Payne any questions you have on the topic of spiritual warfare. We will tackle questions like: Can demons read our minds? Is a crucifix needed for an exorcism? Does casting out a demon require a professional exorcist? Learn to separate biblical Truth from Hollywood’s made-up ‘theology’ on the very real subject of spiritual warfare.

Dr. Andrew Ollerton
Dr Andrew Ollerton is a theologian, pastor, author and presenter who makes complex ideas simple and relevant. Andrew lives in Wales (UK) and regularly speaks at conferences, festivals and churches and films video content on locations around the world. Andrew has degrees in Geography (BSc), Theology (BTh) and History (MA). He completed his PhD in Historical Theology and is a fellow of the Royal Historical Society. Andrew has worked closely with the explorer Bear Grylls. They’ve published a Bible called the NIV for Young Explorers, produced a TV series in Israel and Andrew recently helped Bear develop a brilliant new book called The Greatest Story Ever Told. Andrew recently developed a new edition of The Bible Course with Bible Society and published a new title with Hodder called God’s Book: An Honest Look at the Bible’s 7 Toughest Topics.
Dr. Karl Payne
Dr. Karl Payne is a pastor, teacher, speaker, author and former NFL chaplain. He is currently on staff at Antioch Bible Church of Redmond, WA. where his primary role is serving as the Pastor of Leadership Development and Discipleship Training. He served as the chaplain for the Seattle Seahawks football team from 1994-2015. Dr. Payne is the author of the 3 books discipleship series Transferable Cross Training Volumes 1-3. He co-authored A Just Defense (1987) and Cross Training (1993). He also contributed to two reference books, The Encyclopedia of Biblical Christian Ethics and The Popular Encyclopedia of Apologetics. His own book, Spiritual Warfare: Christians, Demonization and Deliverance (2011) continues to be a popular reference of the topic of spiritual warfare.
