New, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor of Practice at The Busch School of Business at The Catholic University of America, a Senior Associate Scholar at the Charlotte Lozier Institute, and a Paige Comstock Cunningham Senior Fellow at Americans United for Life.  A Phi Beta Kappa graduate from Dartmouth College, Dr. New received a master’s degree in statistics and a doctorate in political science from Stanford University in 2002. Dr. New researches and writes about the social science of sanctity of life issues. He gives presentations on the 50 percent reduction in the U.S. abortion rate since 1980 and the positive impact of pro-life laws. He has been a guest on both EWTN News Nightly and CNN International. He appears frequently on Catholic Radio and is a frequent blogger on National Review Online’s “The Corner.”

Shane Winnings is the Chairman and CEO of a national men’s ministry Promise Keepers. He is an Army veteran, having served as a lieutenant with the 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne) at Fort Lewis, WA. He has one combat deployment to Ghazni, Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in 2014. Following his time in the military, Shane became a patrol officer for the Federal Way Police Department, working nights in a violent, gang infested area. During this time, Shane began preaching in the streets and parks of Tacoma, WA. After five years of police work, Shane followed the call of God into full-time ministry and began traveling and preaching across America for the next 2 1/2 years. It was during this time that his preaching on social media began to gain traction, amassing over 1 million followers, and reaching hundreds of millions of souls annually with the uncompromising truth of the gospel. This journey would lead Shane to becoming involved with Promise Keepers. Shane is the author of two books, “I Will Always Overcome” and “Your Next Leap of Faith”, and leads the top ranked podcast, “Pursuing Jesus”. He also currently lead “Bible In A Year” where he read the Bible live on YouTube everyday in 2025.
