Dr. Tony Evans is the founding pastor of Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship in Dallas, founder and president of The Urban Alternative, former chaplain of the NBA’s Dallas Mavericks & the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys, author of over 125 books, booklets and Bible studies. The first African American to earn a Doctor of Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary, he has been named one of the 12 Most Effective Preachers in the English-Speaking World by Baylor University. Dr. Evans also holds the honor of writing and publishing the first full-Bible commentary and study Bible by an African American. His radio program, The Alternative with Dr. Tony Evans, broadcasts to millions of active listeners across hundreds of radio stations and digital outlets across the nation and around the world. Dr. Evans launched the Tony Evans Training Center in 2017, an online learning platform providing quality seminary-style courses for a fraction of the cost to any person in any place. The TETC currently has over 50 courses to choose from and has a student population of over 1,500. Dr. Tony Evans was married to Lois, his wife and ministry partner of over 50 years until Lois transitioned to glory in late 2019. They are the proud parents of four, grandparents of thirteen, and great-grandparents of five. In November 2023, Dr. Evans married Carla Crummie, beginning a new chapter of love, faith and kingdom purpose.
Miriam Neff is the founder and president of Widow Connection (a not-for-profit ministry) and author of 12 books, including From One Widow to Another and Women and Their Emotions. She is a counselor by profession, Bible study teacher, seminar and conference speaker, a mother, and a grandmother. She sponsors sewing projects and bakery training for widows in Africa and Albania. Her one minute features, New Beginnings and Starting Over Financially are heard on many outlets, and she is a frequent radio guest on Moody Radio and other networks. She is the co-creator of a video series, with her daughter Valerie Neff Hogan, Wise Women Managing Money. Miriam’s late husband, Bob, was the former vice president of Moody Radio.
Joe Carlson serves as a chaplain with Chicagoland Prison Outreach. Prior to that, he worked as a producer at Moody Radio for over 30 years. Programs he produced include Chris Fabry Live, Living a Legacy with Crawford Loritts, Radical with David Platt, Proclaim! with Joe Stowell, and Parenting Today's Teens with Mark Gregston, along with numerous special projects and live broadcasts like the One Cry Prayer Summit.
Burt Kettinger’s rich bass/baritone voice has been a source of much comfort and encouragement for many years. Burt has a master's degree in vocal performance from the American Conservatory of Music in Chicago. He is also an ordained minister with the Evangelical Free Church of America. Burt's personal ministry has reached into 49 of the United States and to six continents of the world. Sound Servant Ministries (SSM), located in Wheaton, Illinois, is the corporation under which Burt travels in his concert and preaching ministry. SSM’s vision — as well as Burt’s heartcry — is to encourage all who are in pilgrimage with Jesus Christ, as well as to bring new followers into His Kingdom.
