Dr. Michael Rydelnik is Professor Emeritus of Jewish Studies and Bible at Moody Bible Institute and the Bible teacher on Moody Radio's Open Line, answering listener Bible questions on over 300 stations nationwide across Moody Radio. The son of Holocaust survivors, he was raised in an observant Jewish home in Brooklyn, N.Y., and became a follower of Jesus the Messiah during his high school years. He is the author of several books, co-editor of The Moody Bible Commentary and contributor to many Bible teaching programs.

Eva Rydelnik teaches courses in Literature, Jewish Culture and Education at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago. She also serves with Chosen People Ministries bringing the Good News of Messiah to the Jewish people. She loves books, Humphrey Bogart films, dogs, hiking (especially in the Adirondacks) and taking people to Israel. She and her husband, Michael, live in Michigan and have two adult sons.

Michael Vanlaningham

Dr. Michael Vanlaningham is retired professor of Bible from Moody Bible Institute and former pastor of Biblical Research at Harvest Bible Chapel in Elgin, Ill. He received his M.Div. in Systematic Theology from Talbot Theological Seminary and his Ph.D. in New Testament and Pauline Studies from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He is co-editor of The Moody Bible Commentary and has written a number of articles for The Master's Seminary Journal, as well as other publications.

Sue Vanlaningham

Susan Louise Hines was born in Grand Island, Nebraska. She came to know Jesus as her Lord and Savior as a sophomore in high school. Sue and Mike Vanlaningham were married on May 21, 1977, and started the grand adventure! Over the years, they’ve lived in Nebraska (twice), California, and Illinois. She has worn many hats during the past 49 years; working as a dental assistant in general dentistry, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics; a long stretch as a stay-at-home mom; a secretary at a Chistian school, and for 22 years as the bookkeeper and office administrator at the church they attended. She has earned not one, but two PhT’s—“Putting Hubby Through” degrees. She is known as “Susie” to Mike, “Mom” and “MOMMA!” to Becky and Tim, and “Mimsie” to Will, Sadie, Dori, Maddy, Finn, Isaac, Titus, Theo, and Micah. Her favorite hat has been the one worn as a partner in life and ministry with her best friend Mike.
