Cara Shine
Cara Shine is an author, speaker, and award-winning elementary school teacher with a surprising testimony of finding Jesus in the midst of chaos and fear. Raised in the Jewish faith, Cara spent much of her early life feeling judged by the Christians around her. But everything changed in the fall of 2002, during the infamous D.C. sniper attacks. What followed was what she calls a “holy ripple effect” that transformed her life, her faith, and her purpose. She is passionate about “building bridges” between the Old and New Testament, anxiety management, and encouraging others to, “Love your neighbor as yourself.” (Matthew 22:39)
