I am so very grateful for the team who keeps the program on the air as well as the guest hosts who have been filling in for me while I’ve been away caring for my family. My daughter Zoe is still battling cancer, with all the ups and downs that go with cancer treatment. Our prayer is that she can return to college life on campus in the fall.
The New Testament often reminds us that we are ambassadors of Jesus, citizens of heaven sent here to represent Him and carry out His purposes on earth. What does that look like as we consider our role in shaping government and laws, and influencing the political arena in which we live? Pastor Dom and I will address those questions and so much more. Chris Brooks
Chris Brooks is the senior pastor of Evangel Ministries, a thriving 1600-member church in the heart of Detroit. He also serves as campus dean of Moody Theological Seminary in Plymouth, Michigan. A popular Detroit radio host since 2005, Chris is author of Kingdom Dreaming and Urban Apologetics. He graduated from Michigan State University with a BA in Finance, completed his MA in Christian Apologetics at Biola University, and graduated from the Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics at Oxford University. He and his wife, Yodit, are the proud parents of Christopher, Zewditu, Cameron, and Judah.
