Spiritual Gifts Are for Today with Dr. Craig Keener & Understanding Protestant Evangelical Identity with Dr. Brian Tucker

Today, on Karl and Crew, we kicked off our weekly theme, “Founder’s Week.” Dr. Craig Keener, an F. M. and Ada Thompson Professor of Biblical Studies at Asbury Theological Seminary, joined us to discuss why spiritual gifts remain relevant today and to emphasize the importance of using them with discernment to build up the body of Christ. Then Dr. Brian Tucker, Associate Provost and Dean of Moody Bible Institute and Moody Theological Seminary, and Professor of New Testament, explained what Protestant evangelical identity means and why believers should remain rooted in the gospel. Ed Cannon, President and CEO of Far East Broadcasting Company, shared about a church destroyed in Ukraine and how FEBC continues to reach people with the gospel amid the ongoing war. You can hear the highlights of today’s program on the Karl and Crew Showcast.
