We live in a time when no common definition or vision for manhood exists. What does a God-following man look like? On this edition of Equipped with Chris Brooks, guest host Karl Clauson will talk with Robert Lewis and Chris Harper about how a man can be God's man. There's an awakening happening among men in the church. Find out more when you join us for Equipped.

Dr. Robert Lewis has been a pastor, writer, speaker, visionary, and national men's leader for over fifty years. For 21 of those years, he was directional leader of Fellowship Bible Church in Little Rock, Arkansas, a city that he and his wife Sherard still call home. He has also produced numerous studies and video resources. His three-volume Men’s Fraternity video series has been nationally recognized and, to date, has been used by over two and a half million men in thousands of US churches, businesses, and men's groups, and in twenty foreign countries including China, Australia, Honduras, Rwanda, and Spain. Robert was named Pastor of the Year by the National Coalition of Men's Ministries and also awarded the Arkansas Community Service Award by the Office of the Governor. In 2015, he was presented the Distinguished Author Award by LifeWay Publishing at its National Men's Conference in Nashville, Tennessee. And in 2023 he was given the Nehemiah Award by the City Church Network of Little Rock.
In 2020, Robert helped create and launch BetterMan, a national men's ministry based in Dallas Texas, aimed at reaching men, especially younger men, with a clear vision of God's timeless manhood. To date, this ministry has reached over 250,000 men in churches across America. This last December, Robert and his wife Sherard celebrated 53 years of marriage together. They have four children and twelve grandchildren.
Dr. Chris Harper (aka "Harp"), is the CEO of BetterMan, a speaker, and a disciple-maker. Chris is passionate about biblical manhood, and often speaks on topics such as a man's identity in Christ, the trouble and trials that threaten men, and the importance of being a gospel-centered husband and father. With a fiery and magnetic teaching style, Chris is sure to motivate and move his listeners. Chris and his wife, Ally, live with their four children – Scarlett, Malachi, Calvin, and Oliver – in Arlington, Texas. In addition to his family, Chris loves music, a good cheeseburger, and firmly believes Jordan is better than Lebron.
