From Skeptics to Converts
There are questions everyone needs to answer: How did I get here? Why is there so much evil in the world? What does a just and fair society look like? For many, including some of the world's greatest intellectuals, this quest has led them from atheism to Jesus. On Equipped with Chris Brooks, Chris and author Nathan Guy will discuss the core beliefs of Christianity and explore the reasons these former atheists now believe the Gospel.

Nathan Guy
Nathan Guy (PhD, University of Cambridge) is the executive director of the David E. Smith Bioethics & Human Dignity Initiative at Harding University. In addition, he serves the College of Bible & Ministry in a part-time capacity as associate professor of philosophy, theology, and ethics, and is the full-time preaching minister for the West Side Church of Christ in Searcy.
Dr. Guy is the author of Finding Locke’s God: The Theological Basis of John Locke’s Political Thought (Bloomsbury Academic, 2019).
He enjoys life with his wife, Katie, and two children, Grace & Henry.

Chris Brooks
Chris Brooks is the senior pastor of Woodside Bible Church, a multisite congregation across the Detroit metropolitan area. Chris served for 20 years as the senior pastor of Evangel Ministries, a thriving 1,600-member church in the heart of Detroit. He also served as the campus dean of Moody Theological Seminary in Plymouth, Michigan. A popular Detroit radio host since 2005, Chris is the author of Kingdom Dreaming and Urban Apologetics. He graduated from Michigan State University with a BA in Finance, completed his MA in Christian Apologetics at Biola University, and graduated from the Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry degree at Asbury Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Yodit, are the proud parents of six children: Christopher, Zewditu, Cameron, Judah, Sophia, and Christyana.
