1: It’s Not About Avoiding Hell, It’s About Living Now and for Eternity With Jesus
Worship leader, Lindy Cofer, was raised in a Christian home. She was 18 when an experience with God and a new understanding of the cross changed everything she thought about Christianity. It’s not about avoiding hell, it’s about living now and for eternity with Jesus.
Lindy and her husband, Chase, have given their lives to activate and empower the Church to rise and be the solution for the 3.2 billion that have yet to hear the gospel in this nation and in the nations of the earth. They currently work full time as missionaries with The Send and YWAM Circuit Riders located in Huntington Beach, CA.
Lindy shares how Isaiah 6 shapes her perspective as a worship leader. She tells us the story behind her powerful song Take Courage. And as one who works with Gen Z Lindy sees first hand that this generation is either all in or all out. Their value system is sovereign.
2: “Be Sure To Finish the Work the Lord Gave You”
When God drops a dream in your heart it will be opposed. By the enemy. By your impure motives. And by what you think your world will think of it. So how do we finish the work Jesus has given us in the face of such opposition?
Jesus said, “My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.” It’s so simple but so challenging. What does it look like to love like Jesus? He lived selflessly, prioritized other people, served to the point of death and valued both truth and grace.
Last, Perry admits, "I can be a captive to so many things! Fears, shame, perfectionism. And breaking through my chains are Jesus' words, 'If the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.'"

Perry LaHaie
Perry LaHaie's passion is to know Jesus and make Him known. “I’m all in with Jesus but not all put together. I need Jesus right now as much as I did when I first started following Him!” Perry says. In addition to co-hosting Perry and Shawna Mornings, Perry is a singer, songwriter, recording artist, and advocate for those who haven’t yet heard the gospel, especially those in the Muslim world. Born and raised in northern Michigan, he earned a bachelor’s degree in Communications and a graduate degree in Cross- cultural Communications. Perry also serves with Frontiers, a worldwide ministry to Muslims. Perry and his bride, Teresa, call Holland, Michigan home. They have two adult children, Kali and Taylor, and Taylor’s bride, Bri.
Shawna Beyer
Shawna Beyer has a way of telling stories that create personal connection— to her, to one another, and to God. She has been a homeschool mom, church planter, project lead for a consulting company, and church staff member. Though she’s been involved in ministry with her husband (Dan) in Iowa, Arizona, and now Michigan, she was born and raised in Southern California and as they say, “You can take the girl out of California . . .” She is mom to four grown kids (Bryn, Drayson, Eden, and Haven) who no longer need her but humor her anyway. Shawna is passionate about the rhythms we weave into the fabric of our lives to fall more in love with God each day. Healthy foods are her go-to, but she will abandon that whole track in a heartbeat for a homemade cinnamon roll like Grandma used to make.
