Thursday on Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, Founder and President of Grace Place School, Elizabeth Coldren joins us to share that since she's always had a heart for troubled youth, it is a blessing for her to use her experiences and talents working with at risk youth and families at this organization. The mission statement of Grace Place School is to desire to see South Florida's adolescents free from sex trafficking and other destructive lifestyles by creatively empowering at-risk youth to reach their God-given potential.

Hour 2: Come, Let Us Rebuild: A Study of Nehemiah - with Russell L. Meek
Have you ever felt like your life was in shambles? Maybe things have fallen apart, and everything you value is marred or even broken. Thursday on Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, MTS Professor and devotional editor, Russell L. Meek introduces us in this month's study to a government official named Nehemiah who was facing a ruined city and a broken people. We will see how Nehemiah comforts God's people as he works hard to rebuild the city's walls and restore the people's relationship with God.

Elizabeth Coldren
Elizabeth Coldren is the founder and director of The Grace Place School. She has a BS in Communications and Theatre and a MS in Education with a focus on children with behavior and emotional disabilities. Elizabeth is excited to use her extensive experience working with at risk youth and families to provide hope and healing those troubled and most vulnerable in South Florida The Grace Place School provides hope to youth on whom most people have given up.
Russell L. Meek
Russ Meek studied Old Testament at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (MA, biblical languages; PhD, Old Testament) and has taught at various colleges and seminaries since 2011. He is convinced that these stories and poems still speak to the brokenness of humans today, beckoning us into the arms of the God who made us and loves us even though we, too, are riddled with sin, hurt, and a longing to be loved. Russ writes widely for lay and academic audiences about all things Old Testament and its relationship to the Christian life. He and his wife, and their three sons live in north Idaho.
