June 24 marks one year since the Supreme Court overturned the Roe decision that led to millions of preborn babies dying. As we thank God for the countless babies who have been saved over the last year, we take a moment to reflect, celebrate, and look ahead to what's next. On Friday's Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, life issues analyst for Focus on the Family, Nicole Hunt talks about how we can move forward and make abortion unthinkable in 2024.

On Thursday's Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, Hebrew teacher, Melissa Briggs talks about how early on in her life she tried hard to please God and meet His perfect expectations. Then, reading Romans 8, and realizing that Jesus has already met all the righteous requirements of the law for us, there was a huge shift in her thinking. She prayed for God to reconstruct her understanding, and He answered her prayers in an unexpected way--through the study of the Hebrew language. She knows now there is abundant life in Christ, and beautiful Hebrew words she has studied capture that so well.

Nicole Hunt, J.D., is an attorney and serves as a writer and spokesperson at Focus on the Family. She provides analysis and advocacy engagement for Christians to promote faith, family, and freedom. Some of the issues she writes and speaks on include life, religious freedom, parental rights, marriage, and gender. Nicole enjoys riding horses and spending time camping and hiking with her family in the great outdoors. Nicole is married to her husband, Jeff, and they have four children.
Melissa Briggs
Melissa Briggs is an experienced Hebrew teacher passionate about making the language of the Scriptures accessible to everyone. Born in the USA, Melissa studied Hebrew in Jerusalem, then taught in England for over a decade. She now lives in Nashville, Tennessee with her husband and two children. She loves helping students to achieve their goals of reading the Bible in the original language, or learning to converse in Modern Hebrew.
