Hour 1: Helping Children Process Difficult Events

Dawn and Steve in the Morning share a devotional from Blackaby Ministries International about the importance of choosing God's leadership over human wisdom.

In addition, Avner Boskey joins us from Beersheva to provide an update on the war in Israel. Avner oversees Final Frontier Ministries. Avner is dedicated to stirring up the creative arts, worship, intercession, evangelism, and the prophetic gifts within a Jewish and Israeli matrix.

Dr. Kathy Koch of Celebrate Kids helps us wrap up the third hour with insight into how we can help our children process traumatic world events. Dr. Koch (pronounced “cook”) is the Founder and President of Celebrate Kids, Inc., based in Fort Worth, TX, and a co-founder of Ignite the Family, based in Alpharetta, GA. She has influenced thousands of parents, teachers, and children in 30 countries through keynote messages, seminars, chapels, and other events.

Hour 3: How to Read the Bible

Looking for Biblical clarity about today's issues? Dr. Michael Youssef joins us to discuss his new book How to Study the Bible (as if your life depended on it). Dr. Michael Youssef was born in Egypt and lived in Lebanon and Australia before coming to the United States and fulfilling a childhood dream of becoming an American citizen. He holds degrees from Moore College in Sydney, Australia, and Fuller Theological Seminary in California, with a Ph.D. in cultural anthropology from Emory University. He founded The Church of The Apostles in 1987 with fewer than 40 adults with the mission to "Equip the Saints and Seek the Lost." The church has since grown to a congregation of over 3000. This church on a hill was the launching pad for Leading The Way's international ministry.
